Church Worship Services resume this week, March 9, with worship songs, prayers and a message on one of the most misused, misappropriated and misapplied verses in the Bible.
In Matthew 5:48 Jesus said, "You should be perfect, as your Father in Heaven is perfect".
How can we be perfect? Isn't it an unattainable goal? Or is it really what we secretly desire to be, but don't know how to reach, no matter our efforts?
We know the people around us who may think they are perfect definitely are not. And the greatest people in the world have problems. So where does Jesus' statement fit in for me, the average person?
