We are bombarded daily with questions and concerns about our money, our possessions, our investments and our efforts. The world around us encourages us frequently to seek after wealth as the prime indicator of success. In our part of the world, it's not uncommon for people on big salaries to quickly start buying up boats, expensive cars, pay for big holidays and more as they accumulate more and more wealth for themselves. Do we invest our time in accumulating wealth for ourselves or do we invest in something else, something greater? And, if we do the latter, what are the rewards we are looking to?
In His Sermon on the Mount, Jesus addressed very directly these very practical concerns that His disciples would have through the centuries.
In addressing this matter, Jesus spoke some of the most profound truths about life, human psychology and the spiritual "returns" we can receive as followers of God.
Through the month of September, we will be addressing these concerns with the practical principles that Bible lays out before God's people. Principles that will not just have a short-term yield, but an eternal return on investment.
Join us on September 14 as we commence our series examining our "Treasures On Earth and in Heaven".
