You Don't Have To Do It By Yourself

The Christian life requires committing to living faith, following Jesus Christ every day, not just putting on a show once a week.

“No one, having put his hand to the plough, who looks back is fit for the Kingdom of God”, Jesus said in Luke 9:62.

That kind of dedication demands men and women of courage, patience and persistence who will carry on despite the tough challenges thrown at them every day.

But part of the Good News is that Jesus Himself offers to help all people carry all of their daily burdens.

In Matthew 11:28-30, He says, “Come to me, you who are weary and heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke (for carrying) on you … for my yoke is easy to bear and my burden is light.”

You don’t have to do it by yourself. In fact, you’ll find that you can’t do it all by yourself. Come to God and Jesus Christ. He’s offering to take the burden with you and see it through to the end.
